Last October, a CMP showed my calcium to be 10.1, but I did not see that until the end of July when my NP called to say that my calcium was 10.3 and she wanted some additional testing. Results of that were: Calcium (Military Lab) 10.1, and a combined Calcium/PTH sent to LabCorp showing 9.9 and 60 respectively. While not out of range, it is my understanding that if one is on the high end, then the other should be on the low end. Also concerned that it went up a full point (not tenths of a point) in the last 4 years where it had previously been stable. Any thoughts? My NP insisted they were both in range, but these two values have a specific relationship, do they not? Thanks for your time…
