Hi Monica,
For complicated questions, I would recommend looking into our consults (https://selfhacked.com/contact/) or joining VIP so you can ask Joe questions. I hope that helps!
Best,

Thank you for providing such valuable information. I’ve been diagnosed with Ra almost 2 ears ago. I tried a medication Sulfasalazine and had a severe allergic reaction. I am currently researching all types of diets that could help RA but the controversy is tremendous and I am getting to say the least frustrated. One diet says fish oil -inhibits the immune system is good. The other says no fish oils. paleo says neat is good that activates IGF1, the other is vegan. But I leanr a little toda what is IGF1 and that LOW is prevalent in RA people and it’s more dangerous than having high…creating a balance is best but leaves me with a question what diet to follow? Then the NK cells which you say are usually low on Ra people too. Would a vegan diet in your opinion be the best for me or a diet like with salmon and red meat? Really need help. Thank You My name is Monica and my email is [email protected]

]]>Co I could have very high NK, which I have, but they are not working, so Ampligen would help?
]]>I have ME/CFS, and the research shows those that have it have low or impaired NK Cell Function (not count). To that end, there is Ampligen. It has been in FDA trials at several expert clinician’s offices going back over 20 years. It boosts NK cell function using the Toll-Like Receptor 3 pathway. The LOW NK cell function is why many w/ ME/CFS have active viral infections. If you have ME/CFS, I’m sorry. It really, really sucks!
