I think you should give this thing its own article. One can never find any real mechanistic explanation, or why it is always spoken of as a “unit”, when otherwise parts are often talked about independently.

Also, do you know where one can get the GR challenge test done at or is it just for laboratory testing in animals?

This problem is a hallmark of those suffering from PTSD, but can also be induced by a viral or chemical insult, and others have a genetic predisposition for this. Do you know of any drug, activity, of nutrient that will reverse or reduce this overactive negative feedback loop, the result of which is very low cortisol.

How could I interfere and stimulate its resistancy?

I’m interested in finding out if you had figured anything out since then about this issue. I am in the same boat, with use of potent corticosteroids to help with my severe case of eczema. Your response would be greatly appreciated!

On not more than 10 mg. But I think my adrenals are a bit run down from detoxing and allergies related to hashimotos’s. Any suggestions? I really don’t want to go to a doctor, but maybe I should?? Almost 2 yrs on it. thank you

I guess it’s helpful for people who can take supplements to know what not to take, but other than experimental drugs which aren’t available & no doubt have side effects, can anything effective be done? That’s the bottom line. It takes time, energy, & brain functioning to read & understand all this info. Is there a real solution with an effective track record–that’s all we really need to know–is there a way to turn off the mutations? After extensive research & experimentation, the only thing that seems to work for me is eat the few foods I tolerate & forget synthetic vitamins & the natural ones, too–I don’t tolerate any of them. My diet feels unsustainable & deficient, but the alternative is even worse–the symptoms make life unbearable. A combination of challenging genetics, pesticide poisoning, & a “better living through chemistry” world.

And I’ve been saying B6 makes me feel like crap. Now I know why!
