I thought cholesterol from food made very little difference to overall levels and also the body self regulates levels so if you lower dietary intake your body produces more.

I knew something else was driving my health issues because I felt awful (NO energy, hair falling, massive weight gain, depression, poor sleep, terrible digestion, brain fog, etc). I finally found a doc who prescribed thyroid hormone (T3 only) and at my six month checkup all of my lab numbers fell perfectly into range. My symptoms disappeared and I finally had my life back.

T4 medication did nothing for me except make my thyroid labs look good on paper. I wonder how many people know that even sub-clinical hypothyroidism can cause leaky gut, hyperlipidemia AND hyperglycemia???

There are much more issues with single carbohydrates then healthy fats. It’s all about inflammations in arteries and LDL actually works as a bandage.
Much more problems comes with obstruction in the arteries calcium deposits.
Statins have so much side effects it’s not even worth to risk. My DNA testing by lab indicated possible serious side effects.
I swear on Serrapeptase. Cholesterol is normalized blood pressure is 110/70 pulse below 60 sinusitis gone
Plantar fasciatis and heel spur resolved.
It’s truly miracle enzyme. At age 66 not conditions no medications.

Detailed as usual for self-hacked, so thank you for that. I few years ago I started noticing a relationship between cholesterol and thyroid function. Upon further research, apparently this is old news but definitely not something covered in medical school nor residency nor the practice of primary care. Bottom line: Better thyroid function increases LDL receptor production and therefore lower LDL.
