I have been trying to get healthy and have been researching on food and supplements that boosts the immune system. I came across chlorella and found out it has a lot of benefits. I am excited that it comes in a powder form! I can add it on my smoothies. Thank you for the recommendations.

Stay safe and healthy!

Cheers!

I started taking Bio Chorella 2-weeks ago. Started with 5 tablets now I am on to 8, with no side effects. I will soon be celebrating my 76th birthday. My question is. Should I be taking this? I also take vitamins, no medication.

I started off taking two pills per day, then five pills, then ten pills per day which is equal to five grams over the course of a few months. I did not experience any side effects. I did have a leg muscle cramp on me but I cannot day it was the chlorella. I did not think it was working so I stopped. I am going to start taking it again it though as I think the real benefit is related to alkalizing the body and maintaining proper ph balance.

I have read that you may need special probiotics, indigenous to areas where chlorella is naturally found, to properly digest both. Does anyone have any information on this?

The Chlorella viruses found in humans do not infect the species that are used to produce supplements (such as Chlorella vulgaris). You are more likely to get those by bathing in ponds and lakes with algal bloom.
