I have been searching for weeks for a comprehensive answer to why my A/G ratio is high. My doctor’s response when I asked was “Do you even know what A/G means? Don’t worry about it.” Needless to say I am looking for a new doctor. I have had two prednisone injections in the last year for a knee injury, with a bad reaction to the last one. That is most likely the culprit based on your article. I will test again in six months and go from there. Thank you for your insight!!!!

My a/g ratio is 2.4 my albumin is 5.1 and my Bilirubin is 0.4 my Microsoft creat ratio is 26 is these numbers to height and are they in a unhealthy range?

My Albumin/Globulin Ratio is 2.3 My test result said this is HIGH
My GLOBULIN is 2.0. My test result said this is LOW

Can you advise me on this, and possibly what I may need to do to correct it, or do I need to have further testing ?

As far as the rest of my blood results, everything else was in the normal range.
