NO-Cushing’s disease (when the adrenal glands produce too much ACTH)

Cushing’s disease is when an adenoma on the Pituitary gland produces too much ACTH. The ACTH acts on the adrenal glands to overproduce Cortisol.

Hi Amanda,

We definitely do! Currently, it’s in an awkward place on the site (sorry about that!) but can be found on the homepage, in the middle of the page. There should be a box that says: “STAY UP TO DATE WITH SELFHACKED.”

Hope that helps! :)

Best,
Caroline

How ACTH can reduce inflammation if it rises up the level of cortisol at the same time?

Good site anyway, I like it :)
